The opening

A top football club has a problem most brands would kill for: more attention than it knows what to do with. The work isn’t getting noticed. It’s converting a vast, emotional audience into products, partnerships and revenue without cheapening the thing fans love.

What I did

  • Found the durable lever. Looked past one-off campaigns to the mechanics that keep paying season after season.
  • Designed for the fan. Made sure monetisation strengthened the relationship instead of taxing it.
  • Joined growth to revenue. Treated audience growth and revenue as the same loop, not rival KPIs.

What it proves

Scale is a multiplier, not a strategy. The win comes from respecting the audience enough to build things they actually want, then capturing a fair share of the value that creates.
